Fankle 14 is here! Printed and folded and ready to go out to shops, cafes and libraries around the county. And as ever it’s a feast of poetry, prose and illustration, the latter from the talented pen of Hugh Bryden
There’s just one teeny weeny little problem … we got so carried away with the whole Fankle production process nobody noticed that we’d actually labelled it Issue 15!
Oh well, we don’t think it alters the quality. After all, The Fankle is known for its quirky layout and samizdat feel, right? And it’s the writing that counts – with pieces from Vivien Jones, Anne Dunford, Isobel Prowse, Lynn Otty, Jayne Baldwin and Lesley Jackson – and from new-to-us contributors Renita Boyle, Douglas Phoenix and Isobel Gibson.
The next issue will be themed ‘up in the air’ – if that strikes a chord, find out how to submit here.
